The primary objective of the open position is the evaluation and monitoring of insurance portfolios as well as the implementation of Group wide standards with a special focus on technical provisions and risk evaluation.

Senior Non-Life Actuary (m/f/d)
Your main responsibilities
* Supporting the claims reserving process including reserve risk analysis
* Supporting the Group's Solvency II process: Technical Provisions & Underwriting Risk Non-Life
* Support in the parameterization for our partial internal model
* Know-How / Best practice transfer & training within the Group
* Supporting the implementation of IFRS 17 in all UNIQA subsidiaries
* Calculation and validation of claims reserves in different GAAPs (local GAAP, IFRS, Solvency II)
* Leading & collaboration in group-projects
* Further development of existing tools & templates (Excel, VBA, SAS, R)
Your qualification
* Minimum of 3 years of working experience preferably in claims reserving and/or Solvency 2
* University degree in actuarial science, mathematics or statistics
* Advanced knowledge of reserving techniques in Non-Life (deterministic & stochastic)
* Knowledge of accounting regimes (local GAAP, IFRS, Solvency II)
* Experience or knowledge of IFRS 17 is an asset
* Excellent know-how of MS Office, VBA programming is a plus
* Good knowledge of SAS or SQL, R or Python of advantage
* Ability to communicate to all levels of an organization
* Team player mentality with the ability to guide colleagues in reserving tasks
* Advanced Project Management skills
* Fluent in English and preferably also German, CE language of advantage
