Your future responsibilities
In the Photonics Systems Research Unit, we investigate various spectroscopic measurement techniques and develop photonic sensor systems. In this context we want to strengthen our competencies in design and fabrication of optical components and systems.
Future responsibilities include:
* Support with the fabrication of optical systems.
* Taking responsibility for opto-mechanical design and assembly.
* Characterization of optical components and modules.
* Adjustment of optical setups and conducting test series in the lab.
Your profile
* A degree in a related subject or completed professional training in the area of optical engineering.
* Professional experience in optics related precision mechanics and optical assembly.
* Experience with CAD and optical design tools. (Knowledge of Zemax would be an advantage)
* Experience in work with optical components and with optical test equipment.
* Technical interest, creativity, teamwork.
Important Facts
* Start of your employment: as soon as possible.
* This position is endowed with a gross annual salary of EUR 53.382.- based on the collective agreement for research (Forschungs-Kollektivvertrag") excluding bonus and depending on your experience and skills.
* Home Office possible.
* EUR 4.- /day food allowance in restaurants / EUR 2.- /day in supermarkets.
* Family- & Kids friendly.
