Stora Enso is looking for a Technical Sales Specialist to join our Project & Technical Sales Team. Your location will be in one of our mills - in Ždírec nad Doubravou, Czech Republic or in Bad St. Leonhard or Ybbs an der Donau, Austria and you will be working in Wood Products Division.

Wood Products division provides versatile wood-based solutions for building and housing. Our product range covers all areas of urban construction including massive wood elements and housing modules, wood components and pellets. We also offer a variety of sawn timber goods. Our customers are mainly construction and joinery companies, merchandisers and retailers.

You will be responsible for elaborating requests for quotation and providing professional technical advice for mass timber buildings.
As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will report directly to the Project & Technical Sales Team Leader. You will belong to a team with members located in different locations across Europe
Technical Sales Specialist is the key point of contact for our business development managers and sales managers, answering queries, providing technical advice, and preparing quantity take-offs as the basis for new offers.
As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for:
* Understanding the customer needs based on drawings, sketches and/or other relevant project information
* Following the pre-defined processes for Building Solution offers and cost estimations
* Providing pre-sales support to sales managers and business developers by creating: scheme designs, preliminary structural calculations, 3D CAD models, quantity take-offs, and basic feasibility studies
* Using specific pricing tools to calculate prices for value-added products (e.g. CLT rib panels)
* Maintaining and updating data in the CRM system to enable offer management and follow-up
* Providing the best technical advice on building components per application based on drawings and/or other information provided by customers
* Implementing basic offer information to Stora Enso Wood Products ERP system (WPS) to allow for data processing by other departments
* Reporting of time required for request elaboration
Requirements for applicants:
* High school diploma or university degree in civil engineering or similar
* Previous working experience in timber construction is a plus
* Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, Cadwork etc.)
* Language skills:
* English - fluent is a must
* Czech - fluent for Ždírec in CZ
* German - fluent for location in Bad St. Leonhard/Ybbs in AT, an advantage for location in CZ
* Proactive personality with a customer-focused attitude
* The ability to analyse customer information and to find suitable solutions
* Very strong communication skills
* A team player with strong interpersonal skills
You will report to Project & Technical Sales Team Lead.
This position is for a fixed-term contract for two years with the possibility of future employment. Possible starting date is January 2025 onwards.
Location: Ždírec nad Doubravou, Czech Republic or Bad St. Leonhard or Ybbs an der Donau, Austria.
