In your new job you will:
* Be a recognized battery management systems (BMS) market expert within Infineon, capable of capturing, understanding and presenting the market and future trends
* Own the application strategy and be responsible for the development and maintenance of the market understanding with focus on BMS
* Collect and provide information into the application roadmaps and Product Lines, Business Lines and/or Divisions for strategy development
* Develop and manage the BMS strategy to ensure the best product positioning in the marketplace, drive revenue growth and increase profitability
* Develop application specific go-to-market material highlighting Infineon's complete product offering targeting BMS
* Be responsible to build and maintain market models, customer and competitor landscapes covering the BMS application
* Determine pricing strategies and propose pricing breakdowns for the application
* Define value proposition including value drivers as well as bill-of-material analysis with Infineon's product offering
* Intensively collaborate with Product Management, Technical Marketing, R&D and Quality Management among others
Profile
You put the customer at the heart of your thoughts and actions, demonstrate excellent communication skills and know how to establish sustainable relationships and networks. As business savvy character and passion to go beyond existing business, you recognize profitable and strategic business opportunities and take the lead when it is necessary to drive things forward. Moreover, you enjoy working in interdisciplinary and international teams with multicultural backgrounds.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
* A degree with a technical focus e.g. in Electrical Engineering, Physics or a similar field - a MBA is an advantage
* At least 5 years of experience in Marketing and or Business Development in a technical area
* Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization
* High level of technical understanding (system and product level)
* Excellent state-of-the-art project management skills
* Strong decision-making and managerial skills under uncertainty
* Considerable experience in R&D management
* Excellent English communication skills, German would be a strong benefit
We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group H-I (https://www.feei.at/leistungen/informations-service/mindestlohne-und-gehalter-2020). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
