Job description
In your new job you will:
* Shape, manage and develop a global team consisting of approx. 10 team members located in Villach and El Segundo
* Be responsible for Quality Management of the whole product lifecycle for all products and technologies within two innovative product lines
* Define and maintain quality targets (corporate targets) out of requirements from customer and market for existing and planned future technologies, packages, products and services with focus on ICs & Multichips
* Ensure the fulfillment of time and cost according to agreed qualification plans and schedules
* Develop policies, procedures and methods to verify product, material and component reliability along the whole value chain
* Conduct risk assessments and have decision competence on risk releases
* Own quality meetings and project meetings with customers worldwide
* Initiate and drive continuous improvement activities and programs
* Act as an interface and build bridges across different functions i.e. R&D, Marketing and Quality Management
Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:
* Achieved a technical university degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics,
Materials Science or comparable
* 10+ years of professional experience ideally within the semiconductor industry and quality management
* Leadership capabilities, ideally 3 years of experience in leading global teams, taking full ownership and steering all parties towards common goals
* Project Management experience as a plus
* Advanced knowledge of quality systems, methods, procedures and tools (e.g. risk management, QFD, FMEA, 8D, etc.) and customer related processes
* In-depth knowledge of semiconductor technologies, development and production as well as of logistics processes
* Basic Knowledge of audits, certifications, standards and process management
* Experience in customer communication
* Flexibility regarding functional alignments across different continents
* Fluent English skills - German or the willingness to learn it would be an additional plus
We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group J (https://www.feei.at/leistungen/informations-service/mindestlohne-und-gehalter-2020). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
