Job Description
In this role, you have the opportunity to lead our HW and SW developers in the electronics project team to design and develop novel smart electronic devices in particular for wirelessly connected IoT appliances including cordless power, innovative sensors, algorithms and communication technologies.
You are responsible for:

Guide the project team to deliver excellent results within budget and in time
*
E2E Planning, coordination, executing, reviewing and controlling all project-related electronics development activities
*
Capability to take high-level requirements and map them into the appropriate electrical development team resources to ensure successful delivery
*
Driving the project team to ensure excellent schematic design, PCBA layout, simulation, FMEA, testing and reliability fulfilling the product requirements
*
Driving the project team to ensure excellent firmware development & testing, architecting, verification/validation, BTLE/Wifi connectivity, key/credentials management, back-end and app interfaces
*
Coordinate and manage outsourced development activities with our co-development partners
*
Communication, negotiation and managing our electronic manufacturing suppliers
*
Technical knowledge development
*
Assess, pilot and evaluate new electronics technologies (PCBA, components, UI, graphical displays)
*
Keep on track with technology market development and competitor analyses
*
Contribution to road mapping for wireless, sensor, camera and algorithm technologies, innovation management
You will be part of
You are a part of an interdisciplinary team of hardware and firmware developers committed to innovation in the context of kitchen appliances along the health continuum. Together with colleagues from product research, advanced development, marketing and industrialization you develop sustainable solutions for the next generation of kitchen appliances including prototypes and functional models.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

FH/TU electronic/mechatronic/communication/firmware/wireless
*
3+ yrs experience in project management of complex engineering systems incl. connectivity in consumer electronics
*
System understanding of electronics projects (both hardware and software)
*
Analogue and digital electronics design, experience with wireless communication technologies, power electronics, EMI/EMC
*
Schematics, PCB layout, firmware, development of prototypes and functional models, testing
*
Team communication, project management, creativity, awareness/affinity to new technologies
*
Profound understanding of the product development flow
*
Good process background (ISO 9001, 60335, etc), electronics standards (DIN-VDE, IPC, ISO/IEC, JEDEC, etc.) and project management certification (PMI, etc).
*
Openness to new ideas and technologies, pro-active behavior to create opportunities
*
English fluently, German is an advantage

The minimum yearly salary is equal to EUR 46.642,- gross with willingness to overpay. The actual annual income is commensurate with the market, your qualifications, and experience.
