Job description
In your new job you will:
* Ensure the right stability and yield already during product development and work closely with product developers and project managers
* Take over the engineering ownership of power transistor products after completion of the development
* Be in charge of the yield stabilization and optimization during ramp-up and production as well as the yield monitoring
* Support transfer and other change projects with engineering expertise and milestone releases after product characterization and assessment
* Lead problem solving teams and work closely with colleagues in operations and all business division functions to correct deviations in FE or BE processes
* Work on finding the root cause for customer rejections and production problems; you will work on the rollout of corrective actions to stabilize production in case of major disruption in the supply chain, lead risk assessments if necessary and implement containment actions
* Identify and implement productivity improvement solutions in order to reduce costs and optimize product performance
* Lead gross-margin-improvement teams across the full manufacturing chain
Profile

Your excellent communication skills enable you to interact successfully with various stakeholders. You bring entrepreneurial spirit and regard the products you are responsible for as your own business company, for which you want to maximize the profit.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
* A university/university of applied sciences degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Industrial Engineering or a comparable program
* 5+ years of professional experience within the semiconductor and system manufacturing industry
* In-depth knowledge of frontend and backend processes including a deep understanding of manufacturing requirements and production strategy
* Experience in leading cross-site and cross-functional problem solving teams
* Knowledge in 8D problem solving method
* Experience in generating valuable information out of data from different sources and in handling data and statistics
* Excellent skills in MS Excel, SQL database programming as a plus
* Fluent English skills, German skills are a plus
We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group G (https://www.feei.at/leistungen/informations-service/mindestlohne-und-gehalter-2020). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
