We are looking for a Software Developer (f/m/d) for participating in funded R&D projects in Austria. In this position you will be responsible for the development of software applications for specific use-cases, demonstrators and proof-of-concepts based on IEC61499 technology as well as for the development of software features and libraries.

Your work field
* You will develop software applications for specific use-cases, demonstrators and proof-of-concepts based on IEC61499 technology including the requested interfaces to connected domains.
* Further, you will focus on the development of software features and libraries necessary to fulfil requested functionality of use-cases.
* In this position you will support the creation of project review reports, presentations of the technology and of targeted/established solutions.
* You will take the lead when it comes to support discussions on technical solutions with project partners as well as internal departments.
* Further you will support the creation of training content and conduct technical trainings.
* You will also support the preparation of proposals for funded projects with technical content and help other departments in software development and training.
* In addition, you will synchronize technical topics from funded R&D projects with EAE development streams.

Your profile
* The ideal candidate will hold a diploma (Bachelor, Master) in electronics or information technology and have a proven track record within the field of software development.
* You should have a good knowledge in software architecture and design, mostly PC based as well as OO Software Development (C/C++ / C#, ...) as well as tool & technologies knowledge in the MS environment (MS Visual Studio, .NET, ...)
* Previous experiences with IEC61131 or IEC61499 technology are advantageous. Knowledge within the field of IT and WEB technologies are a plus.
* The ideal candidate will have a good level of working knowledge with SQL databases and software development. Solid project management skills are advantageous.
* We are looking for an open-minded and ambitions person eager to learn and to share knowledge, define and introduce new ideas, with some experience in scientific working and able to work autonomously.
* Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written skills. A good command of German language is advantageous. Any additional language is an asset.
