Quality & Operational Excellence (OpEx) Manager (f/m/d)

You will lead the Operational Excellence (OpEx) function and ensure the implementation of policies to achieve the division's short and long term goals for improved quality performance, higher service levels and productivity in a safe and sustainable environment across the global business of B&R. As an important member of the Leadership Team, you will develop the Quality & OpEX strategy and implement continuous improvement for OpEx across the Division.
Your responsibilities:
* Development of Quality & OpEX strategy and roll-out of continuous improvement projects
* Responsibility for deployment plans to reach agreed targets together with the manufacturing value streams and other related support functions
* Conduct best practice sharing within the company to embed a culture of excellence in operational performance
* Ensure an effective integrated management system that addresses quality practices and visualizes and improves our internal processes
* Challenge, enable and coach all employees to evaluate risks, problems and solutions from a customer/stakeholder- and internal governance perspective, including audit management
Your background:
* Degree with a technical focus and/or business administration and/or profound business experience in a comparable area
* Min. of 5 years experience as an operational excellence manager or similar
* Good knowledge and skills in quality, production, product or project management
* Knowledge in lean manufacturing (e.g., TQM, TPM, SMED, 5S)
* Proven experience of driving change by building trust
* Strong communication and negotiation skills, fast in action
* Self-driven and organized, with the ability to navigate in a complex environment
* Strong ability to solve conflicts and customer focus skills will complete our profile.
* Fluency in English & preferable German
