In your new role, you are part of an international automotive engineering team at our site in Villach.
In this position you will:
* Drive automotive innovation topics and realize funding opportunities
* Take over the Technical Lead role within internationally funded projects
* Be responsible for the project reporting
* Conduct research work on statistical topics, AI, big data
* Maintain and develop statistical tools
* Support other departments regarding statistic related work topics
* Work in standardization bodies
Profile

You are best equipped for this task, if you have:
* A u niversity degree (PhD) in Mathematics, Statistics or Physics
* 2+ years professional working experience in internationally funded projects
* Experience in automotive and semiconductor industry
* Strong t heoretical mathematical background and publication record
* Programming skills (Matlab, R, etc.)
* Willingness to travel (up to 33%)
* Excellent English and German skills
This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, employment group G (https://www.feei.at/leistungen/informations-service/mindestlohne-und-gehalter-2020). A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills.
