Job description
As a Project Manager for Automotive Smart Power Switches you are responsible for product development projects in the field of smart-power and mixed-signal integrated circuits for automotive applications.
In your first assignment, you will lead a large test-platform conversion project, spanning Front-End and Back-End production test, multiple product families in different technologies and packages. You will interact with multiple internal sites and departments and with external vendors.
In your new role you will:
* Plan, organize and control product development projects with full responsibility for all operational decisions to achieve project targets
* Manage and control the entire project life-cycle and ensure hand-over to sustaining function as main contact person for all questions regarding the project
* Align with stakeholders, e.g. by conducting project reviews and milestone reports
* Form and lead the project team and assign responsibilities within the project
* Conduct a forward-looking risk management

You are an engineer familiar with the semiconductor environment and product development process and are now keen to take the next step towards a professional project management career. You stay agile and flexible and you can convince with strong organizational and communication skills. You think analytically and result-oriented and have a self-driven working style, even when under pressure.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
* A university degree (Master) in Electrical Engineering or similar technical background
* At least 5 years of practical work experience within the semiconductor industry
* At least 4 years of experience in project management
* Experience in project management methods either from a team-member perspective or by first own project management assignments.
* Passion for innovation and quality is the foundation to drive your projects to a sustainable business success
* Excellent English skills, German as a plus
This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, employment group H-I (https://www.feei.at/leistungen/informations-service/mindestlohne-und-gehalter-2020). A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills.
