In your new role you will:
* Establish an understanding of customer applications/systems and support the definition of product requirements including modelling and simulation
* Develop innovative and competitive Integrated Circuit solutions at concept level, including product architecture, and define detailed requirements for the implementation
* Develop and conduct feasibility studies evaluating several technology options
* Contribute to product development during the design execution phase
* Define and support technical innovation projects, potentially supervising the design, layout and lab validation activities
* Create technical concept and requirement documentation
* Cooperate and share your knowledge within the organization, networking with marketing, application engineering and desig
Profile
You listen actively to the customers and consider their point of view, thoughts, and ideas in order to balance the customer's requirements and the interests of Infineon. Moreover you live up to high quality standards, have a good sense for costs and strive for continuous improvement. You have the ability to challenge the status quo and courageously explore new paths by thinking and acting in a cooperative ways.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
* University degree (Master) in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
* At least 5 years of work experience in analog or mixed-signal IC design, ideally using BCD technologies, including use of state-of-the-art environment and tooling
* Practical experience of power management and automotive applications
* Excellent communication skills to act as linking point between application engineering and chip design/product development
* Fluent English skills, German skills as a plus
This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, employment group I (https://www.feei.at/leistungen/informations-service/mindestlohne-und-gehalter-2020). A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills.
