UNIQA Group, one of the best branded Insurance Groups operating in CEE, is searching for motivated people supporting the Actuarial Non-Life team in the UNIQA Group Actuarial Department.
The primary objective of the open position is the evaluation and monitoring of insurance portfolios as well as the implementation of Group wide standards with a special focus on technical provisions and risk evaluation of the Austrian business units.

Non-Life Actuary (m/f/d)
Your main responsibilities
* Collaboration and implementation of Group standards in the Austrian business units
* Calculation of claims reserves in different GAAPs (UGB, IFRS, Solvency II)
* Support in the parameterization for our partial internal model resp. standard approach
* Collaboration in group-projects
* Further development of existing tools & DWH (Excel, VBA, SAS, R)
* Know-How transfer & training within the Group
Your qualification
* Actuarial Education (insurance mathematics / statistics/ quantitative background),
* 2-3 years of working experience preferably in claims reserving and/or Solvency 2
* Knowledge of basic modeling techniques in Non-Life preferred
* Knowledge of accounting regimes (UGB, IFRS, Solvency II) would help
* Excellent know-how of MS Office and at least one script language (VBA, R or Python)
* Good knowledge of data handling (SAS or SQL)
* Fluent in English and German, CE language of advantage

Annual minimum wage according to collective agreement: EUR 39.000 - gross. We are prepared to exceed depending on qualification and experience.
