Job description
In your new role you will:
* Be responsible for the Power Supply Concept and Sensing Architecture for Automotive Battery Management Systems
* Breakdown stakeholder requirements and application assumptions into block-based requirements for architectural High Voltage and Sensing components
* Be responsible for High Voltage and Sensing IP handling of all platforms within Automotive Microcontroller
* Drive together with the platform lead architects a strategy which enables a family concept by modular & scalable approach
* Proactively be driving innovation (according to strategy) anticipating industry and market trends
* Modeling capability allows to transfer theoretical concept in a reference for further development
* Cooperate with technical marketing team, platform lead architects, system architects, SW development, design teams and other business lines within Infineon
* Be the interface between our application engineering as well as development teams and drive active knowledge transfer
* Own and create technical documentation in order to provide the requested functional descriptions and documents to guarantee the ISO26262 compliance - Impart implementation knowhow to others
Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
* A degree (Bachelor/Master) in Electrical Engineering , Physics or a related technical field
* At least 5 years relevant working experience in a similar position within the semiconductor or automotive industry
* Profound familiarity with automotive microcontrollers and open eyes & ears for market trends
* Strong experience in multi-cultural environments and wiliness to work across sites.
* Strong cross functional communication skills
* Deep understanding of Analog-Mixed Signal Design for High-precision analog
* Experience in high-voltage power converters
* Ability to optimize system partitioning between analog and digital
* Experience in Functional Safety
* Experience in DfT for high-precision analog
* Knowledge in Battery Management Algorithms (SoC, SoH, Cell balancing,...)
* Knowledge in ESD/latch-up, EMC/EMI, packaging/assembly (Wire Bond, Flip Chip), Power & Signal Integrity (e.g. XTALK as well as Power Distribution Network dynamic and static voltage drop analysis)
* Strong understanding of ADC and DAC types, digital and analog filters, and lownoise/offset/error analog system
* Ability to understand how technology affects design choices and optimize design and technology for specific applications, with a focus on automotive safety and EMC considerations
* Excellent English communication skills and ideally a good command of German
We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group H (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2024.pdf). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
