Job description
In your new job you will:
* Generate value proposition and differentiation opportunities for new IC and discrete GaN products
* Understand customer requirements and application performance challenges
* Find opportunities for application performance and cost improvements
* Validate the value proposition of products
* Generate demonstrators and reference designs for next generation products from the concept phase to implementation and verification
* Support designs-in at key accounts in close collaboration with local and regional teams
* Generate technical go-to-market materials (application notes, training materials, white papers, etc.)
* Benchmarking and positioning of next generation ICs and power technologies vs. competitors and Infineon former generations

As challenge-driven character, you act innovation and result-oriented and are capable to resolve technical issues independently until completion. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as your strong teamplayer mindset support you in your work within interdisciplinary and multicultural teams.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
* A university Ph.D or master degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, ideally with a focus on power electronics
* 3+ years of relevant working experience including experience with:
* Power converter design, digital and analog control, microcontroller programming
* Power ICs and devices: Power MOSFETs, Gate drivers design, development and testing
* GaN technologies
* Strong team player mindset with good communication and interpersonal skills
* Excellent English skills with German skills as a plus
This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, employment group G (https://www.feei.at/leistungen/informations-service/mindestlohne-und-gehalter-2020). A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills. Furthermore, Infineon offers additional employee benefits.
