Job description
In this position you will be responsible of the overall analog/mixed signal (AMS) verification for power-management integrated circuits (ICs) and System On-chip (SOCs). You will elaborate a verification plan and support the concept activities by providing behavioral models to validate the architecture of the chip. During the design phase, you will be the glue between the Analog and the Digital design teams in order to ensure high quality tape-out. You will further enhance the verification methodology to ensure faster time to market, by understanding and addressing the needs of your stakeholders (application, concept, design, layout and test engineers).
In your new job you will:
* Verify the functionality and performance of our IP blocks and IC top-level
* Shape the verification methodology in close cooperation with the application, concept and design engineers
* Drive the specification of the system level verification plan and ensure its complete and correct execution
* Align and track the implementation of test-benches and stimuli generation according to the verification plan
* Implement behavioral models and ensure their matching with schematics.
* Run simulations, analyze results and conduct verification reviews to ensure that requirements are met
* Report and communicate proactively about the status, the risks and issues towards the project and team management
Profile
You are a team player with recognized soft skills and you want to get things done. You have experienced that a thorough, systematic and methodic verification of IC and SOC is a mandatory task for a successful tape-out.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
* A Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Informatics, Physics or equivalent
* 5+ years' experience in mixed-signal IC or SoC verification
* Ex perience with Cadence Virtuoso, AMS-Designer, Spectre, Xcelium or Incisive
* Experience with behavioral and real-number modelling languages like Verilog-A, Verilog-AMS, SystemVerilog, VHDL and SystemC
* Good understanding of the entire IC design flow (analog and digital)
* Fluent English skills
We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group H (https://www.feei.at/leistungen/informations-service/mindestlohne-und-gehalter-2020). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
