Research Scientist
Hybrid (based in Villach), Part-Time possible
Your Responsibilities:
* Design and conduct experiments to develop and validate advanced bioimpedance measurement systems.
* Analyze and interpret complex data sets.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the fields of engineering, software development, clinical and regulatory to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
* Contribute to the writing of technical documentation, research papers and patent applications.
Your Profile:
* Ph.D. or Masters degree in physics, physical chemistry, electrical engineering or related fields.
* Strong understanding of AC signals, electrical impedance measurement techniques and their applications.
* Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment and experimental design. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
* Proficiency in programming software (e.g., MATLAB, Python, etc.).
* Experience with finite elements simulations tools e.g. Comsol is an advantage.
* Fluent in English (working language).
