Job description
In manufacturing of power semiconductor devices the epitaxy was and is one of the key single processes. We are looking for a high level technical expert with more than 15 years of hands on experience in the field of silicon carbide epitaxy process development. Your tasks will be to develop novel epitaxy single processes to enable our next generation power technologies, drive manufacturing tool vendors to new solutions, and solve high complex technical problems. Therefore a deep understanding of power device physics, a wide epitaxy market and tool vendor overview is essential. You will technically mentor young and lead experienced epitaxy engineers on the site Villach.
Profile
You are best equipped for this position if you have:
* Minimum of Masters degree in Physics, Materials Science, electrical engineering or similar
* PhD desired
* 15 years of experience in process development for Silicon Carbide Epitaxy
* 10 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing
* Found knowledge in the field of SiC epitaxy
* Deep knowledge in physics of power semiconductor devices
* Previous experience on material characterization techniques, especially structural and electrical characterization
* Experience in leading technical teams
* High problem solving capability
* Good English and German skills mandatory
We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group K (https://www.feei.at/leistungen/informations-service/mindestlohne-und-gehalter-2020). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
