ABOUT THE CLIENT: Our client is a leading Austrian technology company on a path of global growth. They develop, manufacture, and distribute specialized high-tech products via multiple production sites worldwide. The position of Regulatory Affairs Manager (m/f/x) at one of the Austrian main sites in Western Austria is now open.
YOUR MISSION: Ensure regulatory compliance of a defined product portfolio. Develop and implement regulatory strategies, provide guidance on evolving regulations, and manage key external and internal stakeholders within the respective business area.
WHAT YOU WILL DO::
1 External Affairs / Stakeholder Management:
Build, maintain and expand relationships with authorities, policy makers, associations, and NGOs Align internal strategy on regulatory topics and respective regulation Prepare materials for stakeholder outreach in alignment with key customers Represent the company in external meetings Define and support disclosure strategies
2 Regulatory Affairs:
Key Advisor for internal teams on regulatory developments to support innovation and commercial success Develop and implement regulatory strategies for the respective product portfolio Monitor changes in regulatory frameworks and assess business impact Collaborate cross-functionally across commercial, technical, and R&D teams Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies Provide regulatory guidance on complex disclosures
WHAT OUR CLIENT IS LOOKING FOR: Bachelor's or Master's degree in law, public affairs, or a related field with strong legal understanding A minimum of 5+ years of experience in law or regulatory/public affairs, ideally in an international setting Independent and structured working style, with strong ownership and analytical skills High integrity, discretion, and excellent team spirit Outstanding communication skills Full proficiency in written and spoken German and English Proficiency in IT tools
