Economic development: Carinthia is ahead with innovative programs
The green transformation of the economy has a new address in Carinthia: the Green Tech Valley recently opened a new location in Klagenfurt, in the premises of the Carinthian Economic Development Fund (KWF) – a visible sign of the great importance of environmental technology companies in Carinthia.
The new location of the Green Tech Valley is more than just a company sign. Because in time for the opening of the new location, the Green Tech Valley Cluster has started a new funding program with TopRunner, which is financed with EU funds via the KWF. TopRunner is not an individual project, but strategically embedded in a whole range of funding measures to promote green technologies.
What the Silicon Alps Cluster offers as “Peak Performer” is primarily aimed at SMEs. Like this you can secure 75 percent funding for individual consulting services in the areas of sustainability, digitization and innovation.
Cooperation as key for success
A central key are networks and cooperations as in Carinthia, with the help of a promoted innovation ecosystem. This exactly happens through cooperative project plans between companies and/or educational and research institutions.
