Carinthia’s Specialists Initiative is expanding and now includes the future-oriented field of IT
Starting Monday, April 28, 2025, Carinthian companies can register their demand for skilled workers in the IT sector via the platform www.carinthia.com/specialists.
The existing sectors (such as care, metal processing, electrical engineering) remain eligible for participation. As before, the recruiting process takes place in close cooperation with the Carinthian Specialists Agency and the Carinthian International Center (CIC).
NEW: Step-by-step instructions
To make participation as simple as possible, we’ve developed easy-to-follow video guides and illustrated step-by-step instructions that explain the entire registration process in detail. These can be found directly on the landing page. The calls are time-limited and subject to legal regulations.

With the expansion to include IT professions and new digital support tools, Carinthia is sending a strong message regarding the competitiveness of the location – today and in the future. The project underscores the region‘s commitment to actively supporting local businesses in matching skilled workers, thereby sustainably strengthening the economic location.
