Cross-border cooperation as a key factor
Carinthia and the Republic of Slovenia want to strengthen their cooperation in science, research, higher education and knowledge transfer.
A Letter of Intent was thus signed today, Wednesday, by Governor Dr. Peter Kaiser, Deputy Governor Dr. Gaby Schaunig and the Slovenian Minister Simona Kustec. As a result, the Lakeside Science & Technology Park in Klagenfurt and the Jožef Stefan Institute in Ljubljana will intensify their already existing cooperation. Other institutions in Carinthia and Slovenia will follow. The participants from the two countries met online in order to sign the document during a video conference and unanimously agreed: Scientific cooperation in the areas of research and development as well as digitization and knowledge transfer within Europe is a key factor for a joint positive future development.
