There are many ways to get to the Klagenfurt region, whether by car, bus, train or plane. Klagenfurt is located on the eastern shore of Lake Wörthersee and is the capital of the southernmost province of Carinthia. Thanks to the very good road, rail and air connections, it is very easy to reach, also from the neighbouring countries of Italy and Slovenia. Carinthia’s only international airport is also in Klagenfurt.
