As Failure Analysis Engineer you will make a valuable contribution by localizing and analytically characterizing failures in electrical and physical analyses. In addition, you will act as an analytical partner and consultant for various development and problem solving activities. In this role, you will build a broad network within the Infineon organization - and beyond - get to know a wide variety of technical issues, and answer them analytically with the help of your expertise and creativity.
Your new responsibilities will be:
* performing electrical analysis (technology development / product development / qualifications / customer returns).
* determine overall analysis strategy (including chemical and physical analysis steps).
* reporting and communication of results, interface with relevant stakeholders, active participation in problem solving teams and task forces.
* analytical support and consulting for product and technology development projects
* establish analytical capability for new products and technologies
Ihr Profil
You are best equipped for this task if you:
* have successfully completed a degree (Master or PhD) in the field of electrical engineering, electrical technology or similar
* have knowhow in the field of analog circuit technology
* know the basics of programming
* are experienced with failure analysis methods or physical/chemical analysis methods
* ideally have interest or knowledge in semiconductor physics
* are able to work in a team, are communicative, stress-resistant and flexible and have a quick comprehension
* enjoy creative problem solving
* have excellent English and good German language skills
We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group F (https://www.feei.at/leistungen/informations-service/mindestlohne-und-gehalter-2020). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
