Are you ready to lead our electronics development team within Kitchen Appliances? Are you innovative and do you know how to succeed in a fast paced and international environment? Then this might a unique opportunity for you. In this role you will lead our team with hardware and software engineers who develop the PCBA's for our kitchen appliances.
You are responsible for

Planning and steering all electrical development propositions related activities E2E during development, product launch including LCM phases.
*
Ensuring the quality of the electronics deliverables and managing the content of the development tasks executed by team members. This includes the alignment of the development methodology with the Philips business processes and ensuring that all safety, compliance and regulatory requirements in the launch countries are fulfilled in close cooperation with the Q&R department.
*
Based on the forecasted resource demand and the available resources a sustainable resource allocation is elaborated and continuously optimized. Adaptations and project prioritizations are executed based on the project needs and site strategy. This includes balancing internal and external resources ensuring an optimal productivity.
*
A sustainable performance and competence development to ensure that the current and future needs of projects are addressed. Ensure that the electronics development team implements the relevant strategic site objectives. The competence management is aligned with the other groups to ensure a fluent workflow implementing the Philips' business processes.

You are part of our Kitchen Appliances department within our Domestic Appliances business. In this role you will be the leader of an interdisciplinary team of hardware and firmware developers committed to innovation in the context of kitchen appliances along the health continuum. Together with colleagues from product research, advanced development, marketing and industrialization you develop sustainable solutions for the next generation of kitchen appliances including prototypes and functional models.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

Technical Bachelor and/or Master level in the area of Electronics, Mechatronic, Communications, Firmware, Wireless
*
Minimum of 3 years experience in group/project management of complex engineering systems in consumer electronics
*
Strong skills in team communication, project management
*
Creativity and openness to new ideas and technologies
*
Knowledge of analogue and digital electronics design, experience with wireless communication technologies (Wifi, BLE), IoT sensors, cordless power, power electronics , schematics, PCB layout, firmware, development of prototypes and functional models and testing
*
Profound understanding of the product development flow
*
Good process background (ISO 9001, 60335, etc), electronics standards (DIN-VDE, IPC, ISO/IEC, JEDEC, etc.), export control regulations and project management certification (PMI, etc).
*
Fluent in English

The minimum yearly salary is equal to EUR 68.740,- gross with willingness to overpay. The actual annual income is commensurate with the market, your qualifications, and experience.
