Job description
In your new role you will:
* Define product requirements for future discrete and integrated products (IGBT, SiC, Driver/controller in new packages), after a training period align requirements across Infineon's divisions
* Derive product and system value propositions for Infineon's products in various power electronics applications like UPS, drives, solar, EV-charging or home appliances
* Own product requirement specifications, collect inputs from various sources (customers, trade shows, benchmarking, system architects)
* Support product developments from concept phase until product launch
* Define required go-to-market promotion materials like evaluation boards, product positioning, application notes and simulation models
* Act as technical interface to our world wide customers
* Generation and contribution of technical documentation like datasheets, benchmarking, fighting guides, papers
* Performing technical trainings
* Represent Infineon at different external events
Profile
You are eager to extend, but also share your knowledge and strive to understand both details and the big picture. You are open-minded, like to explore new paths and derive innovative solutions. Furthermore, you bring in good communication skills, foster an open communication climate and know how to establish lasting relationships and networks with colleagues and worldwide clients.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
* University degree in Electrical Engineering or similar, power electronics is a plus
* 5+ years of experience with power devices: IGBTs and MOSFETs design, development, testing
* Experience in application circuit design and simulations
* Strong teamplayer with strong communication skills
* Fluent English skills, German is a plus
This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, employment group I (https://www.feei.at/leistungen/informations-service/mindestlohne-und-gehalter-2020). A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills.
