In this role, you have the opportunity to provide financial support for development projects through accompanying product price calculations in the development phases for consumer health products. Further you have opportunity to support multifunctional teams of various backgrounds by contributing to the optimization of value and cost across Philips.
You are responsible for
*
Creating different business scenarios (i.e. landed cost calculation, total cost of ownership)
*
Giving support in "Make-or-Buy-decisions" and decisions by the steering group as well as financial analysis of competitor products (i.e. reverse engineering)
*
The usage of target costing/should costing to reach price targets
*
For financial impacts due to device modifications
*
Controlling of capital expenditures accumulated in projects; responsible for investor requests
*
Supporting price reductions during the life cycle of the product; doing regular cost optimizations of products
*
Financial contact person for product management and commercial departments
*
Contributing in supplier selection and assessment by looking at the financial key data;
*
Facilitating to reach purchasing efficiency targets
You are part of
The Industrial Cost Engineer Team in Klagenfurt; you will work in close cooperation with the Innovation & Development team and proactively with the Finance Business Partners.
To succeed in this role, you should have

Bachelor and/or Master in Finance/Business administration and/or Engineering
*
Basic financial insight and feeling for "numbers" on one side and technical knowledge on the other side and able to determine cost prices of different type of parts/products
*
Enthusiastic, highly motivated, team player
*
Hands on mentality in combination with creative mindset - ability to inspire those around you
*
Well organized, able to prioritize, ability to see the big picture
*
MS office skills / Excellent Excel skills (e.g. you know how to do Vlookups, create pivot tables, etc)
*
Analytical skills
*
Speak and write English fluently, German is an advantage

The minimum yearly salary is equal to EUR 46.642,- gross with willingness to overpay. The actual annual income is commensurate with the market, your qualifications, and experience.
